Lock Restoration
Vintage mortise locks and heritage cylinders serviced instead of replaced — Plateau, NDG, Vieux-Montréal, Vieux-Longueuil.
What this job includes
Century-old mortise boxes with skeleton-key throws, brass rim locks on Plateau triplex entries, original Corbin cylinders in Westmount and Outremont. We strip, clean, re-pin and re-lube the original hardware rather than swap in a modern deadbolt that doesn't fit the door prep or match the trim. When a functional insert is genuinely dead we retrofit a modern cylinder inside the original brass case so the door still looks right from the street.
