Door Frame Repair
Splintered jamb, cracked stud, torn strike mortise — rebuilt with steel reinforcement, not filler.
What this job includes
After a break-in the wooden jamb is usually splintered where the strike used to sit and the stud behind it is cracked. Wood filler is a joke — the next kick opens the door again. We cut back the damaged jamb, sister a new stud where needed, install a full-length steel jamb reinforcer (Door Armor MAX or equivalent) and re-set the strike with 3″ hardened screws that bite into framing. Door holds against a second attempt.
